It is. The new Fox wave of steels (Alien 3, X-Men 3, etc..) are up on amazon for pre-order, and none say Steelbook. They all come out the same day too.

The only spec listed on Bluray.com so far say English 5.1 for the soundtrack - no Mono. This is worrying.

This is getting a full 4K restoration for release later this year on blu-ray so I would pass on this version if picture quality concerns you.

In all likelihood this will include that 4K restored version, just like the other 4K restored Steelbooks that MGM/Fox has released (Fargo, Robocop, Rocky)

Release date for the steelbook is April 14th but I'm sure I read somewhere the 4K remaster release is not until later this year.

Well The Man with No Name trilogy with the 4K remaster is up for pre-order on Amazon, so think it'll come sooner than later. I'll also add that I don't think it's a coincidence that we're getting this Steelbook and there's a remastered version being released. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

As I mentioned on previous page, the 4K restoration I'm 99% sure won't be ready until later this year so that's why they probably cancelled this.
No point in picking it up with the old transfer.
