I actually love the film. Some post space movies seem inspired by some things in this film.

On another note....I consider Brazil sci-fi...a bit of a sc-fi fantasy. Just not your normal "space" sci-fi story.

Still UK only, sadly. I have the Eureka disc and it looks amazing. Great film, one of the best sci-fi films of the 70's.

Not sure if this is for films only, but I'd mention year 1 of Space:1999 if you like 70's sci-fi. Amazing set design, fantastic miniature effects, and some really great episodes. Well worth checking out - it looks amazing on bluray and often looks very cinematic.

I really enjoy slow cerebral films so I think I could dig it. I would love to we the remake hit bluray.

Beyond the Black Rainbow. Its a triply, slow film in the style of Kubrick, Lynch, etc. Its an interesting film that one can interpret different ways, perhaps. The blu ray is bare bones though.

I have seen the trailer and it looked awesome but I simply forgot about it until now. It was on Netflix at one point I believe...
