I think they should get a moderator for the digital copies section though. So many people never delete old posts and it's at like 3,000 pages now which is out of hand.

We just added Adrock and neoz...both spend considerable time moderating that section. Moderators are volunteers and not employees, more than enough resources are devoted to codes sales and trading.

That will not work. Moderators NEED to be members who are familiar with the forum and with the membership. Remember...this is not a job. Moderators do not get paid. In fact, most of the time we get insulted, accused of a being power hungry, challenged to fights, and even some delusional types try to "blackmail" us into dictating moderation. People who moderate are people who care about the community. Why would an outsider be interested???

You do bring up very good points, blu Titan. It is a hard job to do indeed. I guess getting someone from outside wouldn't be a good idea after all.

Your power hungry comment does remind me of a kids in the hall skit about someone who has gone mad with a "moderate amount of power". You might not get the reference but it's a funny skit, IMO.

LOL, it helps to have "thick skin". Personally, I do not hold grudges when people get upset at me. I really do not remember most instances where a member has become upset. I just try to explain and move on .

I consider myself to be an honest person and I always try to tell it like it is. The other mods, administrators, site manager and reviewers and really great people to "work" with . The same for 99.9% of the members . Otherwise, I would have no part of it.

One of the most rewarding things about being a Moderator is being able to help, look out for, and assist the community. The number one thing I have always respected about this forum, more than any other, is the way that people help and look out for one another here. It is a joy that all of the Moderators, Admins, Reviewers, Developers, and 99.9% of the Users really strive to do just that.
