The news just broke this morning; I expect most of the retailers have their computers set for the last time DW put out multi-collection mass-market DVD's of their old pre-Shreks.
That's old news, dumped discount Blu-ray collections aren't.

If Spirit is being released on blu the same day, i would think these atr blu-rays too.

There are also a glut of "Biblical" movies coming out (Noah, That Ridley Scott Moses one with Christian Bale, ect.), so they may be waiting for a good tie-in opportunity.

Actually, Aardman (the original production company) owns the shorts now (with home video distribution differing).

Anyway, great news for Aardman on Blu-ray and great timing too since Wallace and Gromit turn 25 this year (speaking of, someone maybe Sony since they have a deal with Aardman should re-release the shorts on Blu in the original audio pitch this time)!

Combined running time on the three films is 4 hours 13 minutes so it wouldn't surprise if it were all three in one disc. For once, I'd be happy with that. I don't like it when the pair together films only because they star the same lead and are in the same genre (I'd much rather have my copy of Frantic not share disc space with the awful Pressumed Innocent even if it looked exactly the same) but in the case of these films, they represent the entire theatrical output of the Aardman team for Dreamworks, so it is consistent as a collection.
Extras are pretty lousy on those dvd's (I have them all). The only thing I really wish it's included is the deleted scenes from Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Chicken Run has been available for several years on BD in Germany, 100% English friendly with a good selection of extras.

Saying that I may have to upgrade to this triple for Curse of the Were-Rabbit even though I already have a pretty good HD rip off TV with DD5.1

hope the bluray mirrors the German blu - which has an insane 6.1 mix - notably during the 'chicken's go in, pies comes out' oven sequence.

I have never seen these movies but have had Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit on my list of movies to check out so will probably pick up this triple pack.
