I think it looks very good for its age,I'm not going into great detail about it as some folks might as I take quality on face value on my 46 inch tv.
Sound is in 2 channel stereo only for English but it does have an Italian 5.1 remix.

It says Reg B, though. Is that wrong?

edit: I really want this.

I have a toshiba multi region blu ray player that you have to select region codes on.
Even though it's multi region I have only one title that is region B (the punisher with the extended version DVD with dolph lundgren), so my player is set to region A.
Put the disc in and it played straight away,no worries at all.
I know it states region B on the back but I took a gamble as I bought the same company's version of Dead men don't wear plaid last month and it states region B too on the back but again played with no issues.
I read on the forum that the same company is releasing Steven Kings Cats Eye next month and I will be picking that up along with Paradise Alley.
So far two discs coded B on the back and able to play on region A players so it's worth a gamble to me

Is the English track lossless, or Dolby Digital, as stated on the cover?

Indeed, the caps look like a dvd upgrade... A shame, would have been great to have it done justice, guess the upcoming cat's eye will be of similar quality.

Here is the web link. Someone will need to post the direct links to the screen caps, as you have to register with the site before they'll let you access image links.

2.0 Dolby Digital English stereo, the 5.1 DD is Italian. Subs can be turned off (I don't even think they're on by default). 1080p AVC. Only extra is the trailer (PAL standard def, looks like it was taken off the earlier DVD or maybe the internet).

I did end up importing this. Obviously there isn't a lot of detail, but it's certainly not a standard-def upscale...just looks like an older master to my eyes at least. May be worth your while if you're a big fan, and don't believe there'll be another release. At least the screen caps show it's superior to the DVD, even with boosted contrast levels. There's far more detail in the BD, as you can see here:

Hmmm... Yes, it does have more detail but still a minor improvement.

My biggest problem with this transfer, and there are several problems, is the muted color scheme. I had to bump up the color on my set to get this looking decent.

Thank you guys for all the info and finally some screens, not sure how much better ours will look yet but I know we will have better audio and extras lol, I will post screens.

*edit, OK here are some screens, maybe this will never look perfect lol, but I like what we have, still wouldn't mind getting this BD though, where can people in the US order Italian BD's from?

amazon.it or amazon.es

Log in with your regular Amazon account. Pick up CAT'S EYE while you're at it if you're a big King fan, because who knows if we'll see them in the U.S.
