Default Leatherface:Texas Chainsaw Massacre III & Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Next Generation

I'm I the only person alive who would love it if a company like Mill Creek or preferably Alliance Atlantis would put out a double pack with those two entry's on Blu-ray.I know it won't happen because people hate Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Next a Generation which I gotta admit I love.I do think Leatherface:TCM 3 has more of a chance.those,a us release of Hellraiser 3,Dreamcatcher & Frenemy would be films I would like to have a Blu-ray release.

Do you think they'll ever get a relase.

Not possible in a double. In the US, Sony owns TNG, while Warner owns Leatherface. Move to Wish List section, mods.

You're not alone on The Next Generation, I'm a big fan of that film and would like to see it on Blu-ray one day.

It is another one of those great underrated sequels like Freddy's Dead & Halloween Ressurection.

I will give you TCM:TNG, but Freddy's Dead sucks compared to, at least, the previous five and New Nightmare. Resurrection was at least better than H20 was.

NEXT GENERATION is horrible. A waste of time, nothing TCM about it.

I'd buy it. I have TCM III on DVD but never upgraded TCM:TNG from VHS. It would be nice to retire TNG. If they were in a combo pack that would be a bonus.

I wish Scream Factory would pick TCM III up or both for that matter.

If Leatherface is released in the US, it will be R-rated only as per Warner's stupid policy. And if that's the case, I'd kind of rather they didn't even bother.

Next Generation is a possibility though, considering Sony is licensing to Mill Creek, Image, and Twilight Time.

I agree with you on Freddy's Dead as well. Resurrection however was an awful movie man, Completely embarassing and a joke to the franchise.

The Next Generation is certainly not my favorite entry in the series, but I do find it to be the most interesting next to the original. So many bizarre characters and lines. I also heard the production was pretty crazy.

I really love this movie, probably my favorite because of how weird and crazy it was. I like all the films in the chainsaw series a little differently for what they are. I'm really hoping Someone puts this out and gives it a nice treatment on blu. My fantasy for a release would be 4k master of theatrical and extended cut. Lots of newly produced features would be nice as well.
Next Generation has the best ending ever in the series imo.
Here's a clip of the climax from the extended cut.

Also the film had a sweet soundtrack, imo. I'm a fan of the score and songs from the bands. Here's a link to song used in above clip.

And if you're like me and you really like this film you might want to check out this cool behind the scenes/making of.
(Edit) it runs nearly an hour has lots of information, Kim Henkel talks a good bit, vary good and entertaining.

TNG is a fascinating disaster, but I've always enjoyed that WTF-ness, not to mention two future Oscar-winning actors going for broke, and both delivering really solid performances that ultimately carry the entire feature.

Ever since I first saw it as a New Release VHS, I have lauded McConaughey's portrayal of Vilmer. So much so, I kept wondering why he didn't take on more villainous roles because he really nailed that over-the-top, bat-sh_t crazy unpredictability. Years later, he would finally play heel again in "Killer Joe," which I thought was brilliant and ended up being one of my favorite films of that year.
