That spine art looks so good. I hope they continue this style.

With steelbooks getting more popular in the states, I hope when they release this steelbook they release one for the first one as well. Being a new steelbook buyer, I loved that they did that for Hunger Games and the price was right. Who makes that decision? Is it the retail store?

Yes unless the art I've seen is rejected by Disney.

I'm really hoping BB does it too. Since we got screwed for the first movie.

I like the art minus the spine. When BB releases one with the title, Zavvi one will be canceled! Curious to see what Blufans and Kimchi comes up with for this.

Apparently, the film's title on the front side is not, as in the side of the film's title is missing. Sorry, sorry, I use a translator

I'm doing the same thing. If we don't get one here in the US (highly unlikely) I'll stick with the zavvi one over this. Once someone can 100% confirm a US release I'm canceling my preorder.

The retailer submits the artwork/design/request to the studio. The studio then approves it, denies it, or offers their own version of the artwork which the retailer can release. Then, the retailer gets the manufacturer to make whatever has been approved. And, the retailer eats the cost of producing the cases.

There are scenarios where the studio decides to create a steelbook too. That is usually the case when the same artwork design is available from several different retailers within the same country. Here, the studio pays for the case manufacturing.

While I hate the spine along with everyone else, At least it's consistent with The Avengers & Thor 2....

Oh god don't hurt me!

Although saying that - using that logic Iron Man 3 should have the same design...BAH! STUPID SPINES!
