Oh, I know that... but I think the answer to my question is the answer to the question of the thread in some ways.
A lot of people in the US still want to look at anyone outside the US as "foreign" and then wonders "why do they get something better than us"... but the people running companies realize people all over the world want movies, and they go where the money is. So the stuff that is getting released outside of the US is released because they think it will sell there... and if it is exclusive or "better" outside the US, it reflects a thought process of the companies involved that people in those countries/regions will purchase more than US consumers will. edit: We have some regularly online "hoping" for stores like Best Buy to fail... meanwhile consumers in other countries outside the US can't wait for movies to become available... so I think we may be seeing the early tide-turning trend where some really good stuff will be harder to get for US consumers because we have burned too many bridges with the companies selling the products.
