Fantasy epic? That sounds very religious to me

I do like my biblical epics but I haven't got around to buying this yet.

Noah was really good too, even better with the fantastic 3D version. Honestly one of the most impressive looking 3D titles from this year so far.

Pompeii is just right up my street in every way, i love big, cheesy fantasy action movies and Pompeii fits the bill. The FX are absolutely magnificent and whilst i think the movie could do with being a little longer, it works great as it is. Don't expect high art, just a good time.

Is the French release uncut?

It's not been confirmed as to whether the cuts were worldwide or UK-specific but the BBFC saw it pre-release, and it was changed before submission so as to achieve a lower rating.

It's things like blood and impact blows during fight scenes rather than big chunks of content I believe.

this movie was fun and ok to watch with my gf but it was very much like a twilight version of spartacus / gladiator. there wasnt really that much blood and gore to look out for.

I was really disappointed by this one. I expected a Irwin Allen style disaster flick and instead got a lightweight Gladiator with the disaster part tacked on the end.

Also not entirely sure what Kiefer Sutherland was thinking of with that accent either. Proper Dick Van Dyke....

Not cut enough, it might've been a good movie with about 105 more minutes cut out of it.....

I watched this a couple of nights ago (UK blu-ray) and have to say, I really enjoyed it! Shame it was pre-cut, although you can't see any obvious cuts or censorship during it.

Does anyone have any more info about whether there is a pre-cut version released anywhere in the world? I was led to believe the UK version is the same one that was released everywhere, and the chap at the start of the discussion talking about the US 3D blu0ray being 'uncut' may have been mistaken.
