I actually preferred the old layout. It was uniform and I enjoyed my little collection of Mill Creek double features I didn't like them at first but they grew on me and I was hoping for the continuation of the "red covers" but since this is Harryhausen I expected a change

Actually I am pretty sure the Mill Creek release will use the same transfer Sony used for their release with just no features and not as many subtitle and audio options

There's only 2 hrs and 42 mins of content, so I would hope that Mill Creek could put that on a disc without any sort of compression issues. Still, I'm not expecting this to look as good as the Sony release

I do like the artwork layout though. It looks very much like some of those double-features that Shout has put out. Like this:

It is Sony's transfer and will probably be the same transfer as the current Sony version.

Price just dropped on this. Can anyone tell me if It! has a commentary track? I'm pretty sure 20 million miles does, but I can't find out if the other disk ever had a commentary.

I don't think this set has any commentary tracks, or other special features. The ones in the Harryhausen boxset do have commentary tracks for both movies.

I got the double feature out of the bestbuy dump bin, but later discovered the superior box set for $30. Love it and worth the price over the cheapo bluray.

Excellent. It really is packed with a lot, even the colorized versions of the films, which actually aren't all that bad from the few shots I've seen.

No and No. It doesn't even have a pop-up menu for scenes or audio selection, just a static menu to choose the title and then you just have to hit next to skip through the chapters

I've never bought blu-rays from Fry's before - but they have a large number of (largely bad, but with a few gems depending on your taste) bargain-basement blu-rays for sale, lots in the range of $1-$5. Shipping appears to be flat $2.99 per order too which makes it a great deal overall. I just bought this and 4 others for $15 delivered.
