Like the term viral. Anything relating to social media or the internet that gets mentioned on the news anymore is "viral."

I'm for this. Like you already said, there's really only 1 good film.

I got a better idea. How about making a SEQUEL to Predators instead?

Does this mean Predator will take place at Christmastime? I know it takes place in the jungle, but imagine a winter set movie, an image of a Predator in the snow. Yeah, that's f*cking awesome. You could have some scenes in both the forest and in the city (think concrete jungle like the video game). Oh man, that could be really something. I'm getting ahead of myself.
DUDE! I loved playing this game on my XBOX when I was a kid. Thanks for bringing back some memories

Haha. No problem. I wanted to play that game for so long and I still haven't but I bought it not too long ago for Playstation 2. I always loved the cover and title.

I would have said no at first with this classic but if Shane Black is behind this i would like to see what he does with it.

So in a case like this, what is the difference between a reboot and a sequel? It has been a different Predator every time, why not just call it a sequel. Might be interesting but I actually would rather see what happened on that Predator planet.

I'd prefer a predator prequel... like where they acquire the antique pistol given to Harrigan in P2. Maybe the baddies don't get to use as much tech when they are going up up against Conquistadors.

Anyway, it would be nice to be scared of the Predator again. Beef up the dread factor Fox. More bigger/louder guns and different versions of tusk-faces doesn't get it done.

The guy who turned IM3 into a turd of a movie by his twist is doing a Predator reboot? I'll pass. I already know how it ends.
[Show spoiler]The Predator takes off it's mask and reveals it is Adrian Brody from Predators who then takes off his mask and it turns out it was Donald Trump all along.
There, I saved everybody the pain of watching it.

My cousin will be super pissed about this. He thinks Predator is one of, if not the most perfect and believable movie monster ever. I almost agree with him, too. Alien is a close second.

I have zero expectations as I thought Shane Black ruined Iron Man 3. I liked "Predators" and would have rather seen a sequel to that, but oh well....

Let Shane write, but get John McTiernan back to direct.

Firstly, Shane Black was around for the first Predator, he played Hawkins. So regardless of what people think of Iron Man 3 (a film that is completely unlike a Predator movie), he at least should have an understanding of the franchise.

Secondly, I'd love it if they would have it take place in the future and do something a bit different with the franchise (that has been done in countless comics). We all know we want a colonial marines vs predator(s) movie!

Didnt they all say that about George Lucas directing the prequels and look what happened?

I would love a colonial marines vs Predators film where it's actually the humans are the bad guys and the predators are just defending.

I've been thinking about it... and I'm actually fine with this as long as Shane Black directs. If not, they better find someone who is also seasoned within the action genre.

Let me guess, it will add nothing to the lore of Predator and have corny throwbacks to the original (random person says "STICK AROUND") that fall flat.
