Hmmm. I'm now discouraged from a day one purchase. Will wait for solid confirmation that the UK bd is uncut.

To be honest, I've not seen Lionsgate UK do it before, even for titles that might benefit from it, like The Hunger Games (where a cut version was released on DVD, and the initial blu-ray release, and first reissue were uncut. Later reissues included the cut version.)

That looks like an 18 to me....

Plus 18 and R rated movies do better on home video

Extras looks really good to me: 70 min bonus material is not bad at all

I have the Zavvi steelbook on pre-order, but I'm not sure whether or not to get the standard 2D edition - I always sell my 3D discs on eBay to justify the high prices for a steel these days. I preferred the placeholder for the steel, the official cover with just Nancy looks like an amateur photoshop job.

The thought of less Eva Green confused the sarcasm!

Not sure about that Special Edition it looks okay but I'd prefer something more interesting than playing cards and stickers. It depends on how much it is. I do like the red cases although black ones would have been equally as good.

I never get why they include stickers in these deluxe sets. How old are the target market? Just give us a nice set of prints with all the main cast. Maybe a replica of Marv's gun Gladys for a super-deluxe one maybe.

Well done sir, what extraordinary powers of wit and jesting you truly possess. Timothy Claypole certainly has nothing on you. My sides might surely split - I salute you.

Because they are dirt cheap to produce and they know collectors and fans will eat it up.

On the special features there is this high speed version in green screen for the movie. Do you guys think it will feature Eva Green's nudity or cut them out. Because if i recall Carla Gugino's nudity was cut out in the high speed version as special features on the original set. But lets hope this time the "whole" movie is in high speed including Eva Green's nudity

I'd have loved to have seen the full version of the green screen version. I don't know why we have to have things speeded up. Seeing Beowulf on the capture-stage would be neat too.

Given the general creepiness this thread has divulged into, I wouldn't blame them for censoring it out...

Creepiness. What do you mean? Nothing wrong in enjoying a beautiful woman naked i am pretty sure its not censored either i mean why would they. Also if they do its almost half of the movie thats censored

Should the nudity also be censored in the movie itself in your opinion. Or what is it you mean

Yes, but there's a difference between appreciating and leering...

No, nudity doesn't offend me, but given the nature of some of the comments, I wouldn't blame her for not wanting it shown outside of the film...

I'd imagine if it is censored, it will be a legal thing and nobody can be arsed for a waiver just for a 10 minute bonus feature...
