Panic Room's a different company and Rush Hour 2's already on the schedule for 2015. Although I do wish Warner would do Spartan.

This flick is endlessly re-watchable. I'm all over it. The cop/criminal cafeteria scene with Orlando Jones is worth the price of admission alone.

I missed this on release so only saw it on TCM HD in the UK a few months ago.

It's pretty good but not that funny and if anything is more of a romantic film and I guess about people having, and taking, second chances.

Keanu and Hackman are good in it, I'd give it a solid 6/10 and say its worth picking up to add to anyone's collection if it's 10 bucks or less.

Couldn’t wait for the BRDC review and ordered this to replace my DVD. Guilty pleasure or not, love this flick!

But stripper cheerleaders in PG-13 = no fun, all tease.
I'll stick with hard R or XXX for my stripper cheerleader needs.

I swear monkeys must throw darts at a posterboard of mini movie posters for them to decide which titles to release when. No rhyme or reason to be found, must be monkeys!

What about that other Keanu Reeves sports classic 'HARDBALL' with Diane Lane and the little Kakumbas?

I love this movie. Watch it all the time on TBS. I'm surprised I didn't hear about this until now. Just ordered from Amazon for $8.69.

Any chance this'll get a release in stores at all? I remember when the robocop 4k set came out it was in the 7.88 bin at Walmart within like two weeks. I know they're probably different studios but just wondering.

I've noticed with most older catalog titles, esp. from Warner, you don't see them in (most major) stores when they get released. Now a few weeks or months later they will appear in store, either on a cardboard stand of special offers or in cheap bins. That said, not all make it to retail. I still have never seen a copy of In the Mouth of Madness "in the wild" (locally, did see one in a huge MovieStop outside Atlanta), and it's have been out for well over a year.

Probably best to pre-order online if it's something you really like and want.

I like this movie and the reviewer gave it 4 out of 5 blu blocks for picture quality, so I ordered to replace my DVD. The reviewer said that he wasn't sure if it was a new scan or the one used for the 2000 SE DVD, but said the over all quality was rather good. I'm sure it's newer than the 2000 scan. Hell, that would be a 15 year old scan!!! Im most certain that it wouldn't look very good being that friggin' old.

Look!, Bundt cake...

Mine's set at arrive this afternoon from Amazon, I've probably watched this film 20 times or more over the years on DVD, and every single time I find myself flipping through the channels, if this is on, the channel stays.

Dunno, I preordered mine back in December. I'm just glad to have mine early, and I just checked, dropped off at my parents place just over an hour ago.

Quick and short road trip for me....

Thanks, Blades. BTW, are you a Prime member? I just got off the phone with one of their foreign call centers. The first guy was ... outgunned. His supervisor, after chiding the associate for even mentioning that Prime members might be getting theirs early, tried to assure me that no one could be getting any early and that Amazon wouldn't even get any of the BDs until the release date. Get the picture he was pushing? Fleets of trucks would arrive at warehouses all over the country some time tomorrow and fleets of worker drones would begin frantically packing shipments and loading shelves.

I explained to a very foreign-sounding "Paul" (nice guy but ... really?) how stores already have them in their back holding areas which is how workers snap camera pix and post them early and how some stores actually just ship or sell early. He was still skeptical and adamant that Amazon had none when I read him from Amazon's webpage that if I ordered it "within 2 hrs 30 mins and choose One-Day Shipping at checkout", I'd get it tomorrow. He finally agreed that yes, they had to have some in order to ship it out today for delivery tomorrow.

So, my takeaway from this : if you want something asap, never, ever preorder from Amazon unless you're either a Prime member or pay for expedited shipping 'cause they won't even pack it until after the release date.

Yes I am a prime member, with over 100 orders placed every year the last 4 years with Amazon, it simply is the cheapest option that makes the most sense to me.
