Why would they, it was produced by Sir Lew Grade and released by Tri-Star Pictures, it was not a Cannon Film.

By the way, this doc was leaked on you tube, a bootleg version, I found the trailer to have more energy than the doc it self, Dolph is only in it for like seconds so is Dudikoff, the two Chucks are discussed but again not much, it focused more the rise and fall of the company. It was ok, I expected it to be better.

Brett Ratner's company picked up the domestic rights as part of a new documentary label he and his financiers has started (named RatPac Documentary Films). No date has been announced yet but I wouldn't be surprised to see a partnership be struck with a company like IFC for VOD and home video.

It's not a world exclusive since it's been out available from Australia since October 31.

Finally watched it this evening, it was very entertaining. The interviewees certainly do not mince words about their experiences working for Golan and Globus. Whether you're a Cannon fan or are fascinated with Hollywood history, this documentary is a must see!

Seems it was a bit rushed and they didn't clear the deleted footage to include in the extras. The Australian distributor gave a link to the buyers to download some tidbits but there wasn't much (wheas I believe you had a lot on the previous Mark Hartley documentaries).

Watched it last weekend and like format916, found it quite good too. The only complaint I'd have is the film goes too fast and skips quite a lot of titles (given the number Cannon has produced, I guess it wasn't easy to synthesize the whole thing).

A 3 hours version or raw versions of some of the interviews would be nice (especially since I'm sure the interviews they conducted totaled at least 30-60 minutes each).

I watched it last night and loved it. Just what I hoped it would be like. I'm glad they talked about Bronson a bit and went into detail about some of his movies for Cannon, as well as showing some rare behind the scenes clips of him.

I'm disappointed they didn't spend any time talking about Bloodsport, or talk more about Chuck Norris, who was their biggest star if you count the domestic box office grosses of his movies.

GO-GO BOYS has only been released in France I believe (theatrically, the DVD comes out in March). ELECTRIC BOOGALOO is set to hit the big screen in the UK in June.

Saw it at the Cannes screening. GO-GO BOYS is much less irreverant and much more about the personal lives of Golan & Globus (who initiated it).

A little shy to admit I knew nothing of Cannon films until I saw Half in the Bag review this Doc. As a fan of 80's schlock I feel I really should check some of these films out. What are some of the best?

Delta Force probably has the best score. The Indy 500 even used it!

Everything Bronson and Norris did for them is a good start.
