...Not only a bare Steel to sit alongside those, but also another one, at least, for the lenticular and possibly more for the other slips

FOUR copies potentially!

Aaaaaaaaaand another insta-buy lol. I love white steels like this, they just look too perfect to pass up. I don't have the other 2 white ones from Japan because they are mucho expensive. But this will be a nice start. I guess I'll start the collection in reverse order ha!

Well, I bet they are only going to get more expensive. Demand is going to go way up and that will make the price . Same thing happened with Thor, Cap America, Iron Man when Avengers came out and was a hit.

You might want to try and find some now and bite the bullet if you want a full collection.

This one has been done to death and the artwork is not amazing too me. Even if the lenticular is awesome I have The Dark Knight Rises target version which has one of the best lenticulars on it. If I knew they were releasing all 3 I would be in, but if you were going to do all 3 who would start with #3? Not very interested in this release. Will suck if they do all 3 and this is sold out.

Easy pass for me. I happen to really like the Best Buy one. And I would never want the art to have Bane on the cover over Batman.

Any chance they do a Batman Begins & Dark Knight like this? Or will we need the white Japenese versions?

Korea already did these. You can find a couple on eBay just search for Dark Knight blu-ray Steelbook or Batman Begins blu-ray Steelbook and sort by Highest Price

Yeah I was just wondering if Novamedia will produce their own versions of the first two in similar fashion to this one with full slips and lenticulars etc.

That would be pretty awesome. "Collectors" of the first two might be pretty butt-hurt if that happened

Unfortunately, Choi has confirmed on HDN that Novamedia will not be doing an exclusive of the first 2 movies... only TDKR

For such an amazing and important trilogy in cinema history, you'd think we'd easily have a first class collector's package of steelbooks. But as of now, probably the best thing out there is the German trilogy tripack. I have it and it's very nice, but a WEA, glossy, debossed fully loaded trilogy with custom lenticular slips and extras like the Asian shops do it would be a MUST own. So far, nobody has stepped up to the plate to provide the killer set that we all know is possible.

And that is why I will be passing on this! They should have started with Begins and done the set, not choose a random 3rd film.

They did not randomly choose to do a third. The first two were already released in Korea and the third is now being made to match. Nova has been doing so well since they started doing exclusives there was no reason not to give them a portion of the print run.

Like the two full slips, but the lenticular is disappointing, when they could've tried for a Batman/Bane changeover image instead. That would have been great.
