There was a trailer on BBC One the other day for Baptiste, the spin-off of The Missing. It should be starting in two weeks.

Can you remember which channel premiered the two series of The Missing?

Have you had a UK series over there called Unforgotten? I know it's had a DVD release in the States.

Yes, the pay channel Starz aired both seasons, of The Missing, here in the US.
Also yes on Unforgotten. It aired on PBS. I watched the first two seasons and really enjoyed them. I haven been able to track down the third season yet.

Not 100% sure, but I think a fourth series of Unforgotten is in the works.

I’m so jealous of the great shows you’re getting in the UK.

I saw your post about Trapped. Wish I could pick up some of those great UK channels on my Directv.

There are one or two shows in the States which I'm waiting to see (some of them have start dates and some don't).

Look out for a show called ‘The Virtues’ on C4 in the Spring Ocean. It’s directed by Shane Meadows and stars Stephen Graham (This Is England, Broadwalk Empire).
It’s about a guy who confronts his demons by revisiting the place where he suffered abuse a a young person. It looks great. If it’s anywhere near the quality of the ‘This Is England’ tv series, it will be unmissable.

Netflix was supposed to show Baptiste (labeled as The Missing Season 3) starting on June 17th but it's not available for me...will this be shown in the USA or is it exclusive to the UK?

Fingers crossed it doesn't get delayed (I can remember when the (at the time) new series of Law & Order: UK was delayed a couple of times (it was pictured on the back page of TV & Satellite Week magazine a couple of times in the Next Issue section). On the back page of the new issue of TV & Satellite Week magazine, in the Next Issue section one of the shows previewed is a new series of The Missing spin-off Baptiste.

Before tonight's new edition of Holby City, was a trailer for Baptiste. It said onscreen that it's the final series.
