I can confirm that JB Hi-fi are NOT customs friendly, received the fee to pay card today (although it had yesterday's date on it).

Anyone know if you need exact change when paying in person?

I've ordered from JB to the USA a couple of times with no issue.

The States customs system is lackadaisical from what I understand,certainly compared to the UK...I believe anything under $200 gets sent through whereas in the UK it is anything over £15 which should be stopped.

I got mine to the UK yesterday without customs charges. Watched the film last night and loved it. Certainly creepy in parts, but just a very good film in general. They are going to be releasing the pop-up book too! http://thebabadook.com/

Those that escaped Customs: did JB Hi-fi fill out the Customs Declaration correctly, as they filled out mine with $37 which was more than the total price I paid?

I got mine from JB a week after dispatch. No customs hassles. It came in a plain jiffy mailer with not customs/pricing info on it.

Though this issue doesn't concern The Babadook, this seems the best place to post it.

Has anyone in the UK ever had to return something to JBHiFi before? I've been sent something else instead of Duel, and they want me to return it, claiming it to be a freepost address. Does this apply even for overseas customers? I see the Australia code is 'Reply Paid' rather than our usual 'Freepost'. I can't recall sending something free internationally before.

It went OOP very quickly for online sales. If you were in Australia they had stock still out in their stores until it sold.

I'm loosing my mind over JB HI-FI at the moment.

I ordered a copy of "what we do in the shadows" way over a month ago and it's still "in progress" chances are in going to cancel my order and get it from another site.
