I enjoyed it. But then again, they made the 1st episode very stylized like the movie. Who knows how future episodes will be formatted.

I know most on message boards like this aren't huge procedural fans, but it's quite obvious this will be a weekly crime of the week drama.

Hopefully we'll see Bradley Cooper/Senator Mora again. They did leave things open for him to come back.

Having only vaguely remembered the movie, I went into watching the pilot episode totally fresh. It was more interesting than the Minority Report pilot. Hoping that the series only gets better.

But, I'm simply getting burned out with all of these procedural shows that feature a cop or an FBI agent teamed up with a civilian. It's getting rather boring. Let's see if I can name them all:

Bones
White Collar
Castle
Limitless
Minority Report
Lucifer (Upcoming)

There are probably more of these shows, I just don't recall them all.

djgeneral, I can confirm that. Bradley Cooper is in the pilot, but he's actually running for Senator. He makes a cameo appearance somewhere around the midway part of the episode. But, he's supposed to be a recurring cast member throughout the first season.

I had similar feelings. There seemed to be a lack of confidence in her character for most of the time she was in the episode. It wasn't until she was giving advice over the phone where she seemed confident and believable.

I loved her in Dexter, but it took a couple seasons for me to really 'believe' that she was a cop. It helped, in Dexter, that we saw her journey unfold. In this show, her character is already established yet (at least to me) it seems she's playing an agent who is unsure of herself.

Yet another one just premiered on Fox tonight -- Rosewood, starring Morris Chestnut as a crime solving pathologist.

Tell me about it.

It's, quite frankly, getting out of hand. CBS' upcoming Supergirl TV series has the heroine as a government agent. It's like these studios come up with a new genre and decided to copy and clone it with every new TV series.

While Limitless has potential, it just feels like another "Bones", "White Collar" or "Castle TV series.

Limitless has limited potential to me.

Heh! I just have a hard time believing that any of these shows will survive past a first season. It seems like every movie is being transformed into a television series and it has really gotten out of hand.

If anything deserves a full television series order, I would think that the Jesse Stone series (Robert B. Parker) and the Alex Cross novel series (James Patterson) deserve to be ordered to a television series.

Loved the Ferris Bueller episode, both hilarious and keeping things fresh.

This show is much better than I expected tbh.

Another great episode!
I was thinking about giving up on the show but the latest three episodes (5-7) turned everything around.

I'm enjoying this show, its a funny detective style show where one doesn't need to overthink the plots, very linear.

It was funny to watch Andrei Arlovski tripping balls. All I could think though was what bus driver in her right mind would pick up some out of it looking strange man with a bus full of children.

also for those that might have forgot what it was referencing.

I dig this show. I'm really not a procedural fan, but I like Elementary and The Mentalist & this show is in the same vein. It's a fun time-waster.

I was not expecting this series to be so damned amusing but the Bruntouchables seem to be having a great time together.
