I know this is a long shot but it would be sweet if this was remastered... I have the australian diwc which is supposed to be the best one available but it is at best marginally better than the u.s. disc... this one really deserves a good effort imo

I was hoping Nova would release this instead but if that were to happen, it would be easier getting a reservation at Dorsia than to get your order from them the day it goes live.

The book is amazing...and very disturbing! I think the film got away with as much as it could from the book. Trying to make it closer to the book just wouldnt happen. I think I prefer the end of the film to the book as well which has a bit of a difference of course..

Since this has never been released in the UK, would a normal Blu Ray release coincide with the Steelbook release? Or will it only be a SB?

I ask because I have the feeling they'll screw the artwork and go for the...gulps...UK DVD cover...
