My suggestion is you take away all bold notes on everything since they aren't complete or correct. Sometimes they are missing and sometimes there are two. Sometimes we go by Best PQ and sometimes not it seems. Better to let people read and make up their own minds.

I'm not sure on A Beautiful Mind.

The DE disc of A Book of Eli has the best AQ. I know because I have it.

I'm going to take off all the bold as you suggested to make it easier.

Either state best PQ/AQ or bold.

i don't know if it's possible but i'd like to have a full list of all BDs editions all over the world stating the one's better, rather than have the list of international BDs with better PQ/AQ. maybe it would be a huge work and barely impossible...

That is, in effect, what this list accomplishes, albeit by default when there is no foreign release for a given title.

The only instance not covered would be the occurrence of more than one American release of a given title, with no foreign release of that title.

Having watched the JP Miyazaki Collection Blu-ray of Ponyo today, I will state that it is definitely a superior presentation to the US release. The artwork has never looked so beautiful, IMO. You might want to mark that one as 'Best PQ'.

I want to thank HD Goofnut for the immense amount of work that went into this thread! It's truly a great resource even if sometimes your heart sinks when you find out a different region has better picture quality/sound quality on a title you already have!

I've been meaning to ask, are extras enough of a factor for a foreign release to be listed? For example, if the PQ and AQ are the same or even worse than the US, but the extras are overall better, would it get listed? What if the PQ and AQ are again the same or worse than the US, and the extras are overall worse, but it has at least one non-trivial extra not found in the US, would it get listed?
