As a father and a drummer myself, I would have to say no. The movie is brilliant, but its also a bit dark and I found it to be very "intense" at moments. It's also pretty vulgar. It would probably be OK for a younger teen, but I would go much younger than that. However, if you want to check it out for yourself and then decide, I would recommend that.

The film lasted a couple weeks in my city. I loved it. It's definitely a best the first time you watch it type of film. Not to say it doesn't hold up but it does lose something when watching it a second time. I will be purchasing this when it comes out for a reasonable price.

Day 1 for sure. Missed out on the $24.99 pre-order, now it's jumped up to $31. Hopefully it goes back down before being released.

Prices aren't even worth paying attention to at this stage. Of course it'll go back down, it's a Sony release like The Raid 2, where that started out very high as well. This always happens, especially on Amazon.

Saw this with my Mrs last night and I have to say it is one of the most gutwrenching, intense, engrossing films I've ever seen.

The acting is first rate here and you will genuinely loathe Fletcher, but he is one character never to be forgotten.

The ending is ****ing sublime and we were clapping like a couple of seals at it.

SO GOOD.

Well, Amazon has removed the date (supposedly Feb. 3), and according to VideoETA, the new date is February 24. So, Feb 24.
