Picked mine up this morning shortly after opening. I went straight to the front display since they usually do not put those in coffins at my store. There were about 20 in the display. The quality of the steel is much nicer than I expected. Glossy finish. Nice interior artwork. Pretty happy with this purchase.

my target opens 8am, i was there shortly after 830am and not a single new release was out on the shelves, ridiculous

I had the same experience at my local Target. About 8 copies in the endcap display in electronics, another 12 or so in an endcap on the far side of the store by the grocery checkout and and another 6 to 8 behind the counter in electronics because there wasn't any more space to put them yet. More than enough for everyone who wants one, and probably so many that the scalpers won't see them as rare enough to bother with. Why can't Best Buy figure this out?

6 copies at my store, all in the electronics section. I grabbed 1 but it looked smashed. Picked up another with no damage thankfully.

It's a really nice looking steelbook. I'll gladly display it on my wall.

I was wondeirng when someone was going to post that! Those two beg to be displayed, just like that. Just get some magnetic strips on the wall, and you'll have Lucy watching over you.

Picked one up. I looked through maybe 10 or so to get one I was happy with. Opened it right away since I would want to exchange it if it was jacked underneath and to my approval, it was perfect. This is a really nice steelbook. I have no complaints. Full gloss finish. Great interior artwork, and highly detailed background on the front and back with mathematical coding and theories and all kinds of smarty pants stuff.

Nice steelbook at a nice price for a new release.

I almost freaked out when I got to Target at about 9:50 this morning. There were tags on the shelves for the steelbook but no steelbooks, just regular copies. No steelbooks in the front of the store, endcaps, nothing! Finally I found a stocking cart with them on it, they just had'nt but them out yet. Crisis diverted. This was my 500th blu ray too!

I read earlier today some in this thread saying Arizona Targets didn't get their shipments or something.
