Being new to the format (just got a PS3), but a lurker in these various sites. I am amazed how 2 groups looking at the same info see two completely different outlooks. I was just at the Blu section of AVS forum. And the posters are all hd-dvd supporters or nuetrals. To be fair. I have seen just as much BS come from Blu supporters as HD-DVD. But, that above poster who quexos mentioned is really screwed up.

I will admit that I bash DUD on this site and they bash Blu on theirs.

That is the nature of the beast... especially when ou have fanboys. The only issue I have is that there is a time and place for everything... Every rant, every argument and every bash is ok in certain situations. I just think Blu2008 was out of line and causin trouble that didnt need to be. No offense Blu2008. I admire your enthusiasm. I really do but I think its fair that you got banned

I can't believe how childish some of you people can be, and even those on hd-dvd forums. What on earth is the problem that anyone would troll another "format" like a delinquent child? Are you honestly that much of a low life?

Grow up. You either love blu-ray technology or you love hd-dvd or both. What is this elementary childish attitude of "we won another week", "when blur ray beats hd-dvd", etc etc? Honestly, how old are you kids?

I post on HD-DVD forum on a regular basis, and I dont know if you have read my posts, but there is no trolling going on. I discuss topics related to Blu-ray and contribute to discussions, not troll. There is no place for open HD DVD discussion on this forum or for pro HD DVD supporters, they get banned and trampled by our members here. The trolls on the HD-DVD forum also get banned, and rightfully so. But a public forum is an open for discussion and should be free to all mature enough to discuss its topics, including Blu-ray. I am thankfull those members who post there frequently, for the most part accept my input.
They might not agree, but they are mature enough to take an opposing view.

And honestly there is no "we won another week", "when blur ray beats hd-dvd", etc etc? going on. and if it does occur it doesnt last long.

BTW im 34 years old.

I check out highdefdigest.com sometimes to see their reviews and news.
I don't belong to any hd dvd forums.
I think often people from this forum read stuff on the hd dvd sites then come back here upset and post a lot of negative stuff.
Victory shall indeed be ours no matter what the hd dvd forums say.

To be fair I myself see that going on here from time to time. I believe that it is more the hd dvd fans spreading FUD and some members here getting upset. I agree that it is childish, but when you consider their fans coming on here, pointing fingers and name calling, how is what they do not the same if not worse? I myself avoid that site as well as highdefdigest. Just for the record I am 33 years old and would like to think I am above the level of high school antics of some people. Curious though, what made you join this site?
