Kino Lorber was my Blu-ray hero company of 2014, and their batting average for 2015 looks to be even better.
I've never seen this, but I was a big fan of Revenge of the Ninja back in the 1980s shortly after its release on HBO. Ninja movies from the 1980s own all. This also brings back memories of watching that television show, The Master (starring Lee Van Cleef), around the same time. God, I loved that show, and I'd love to see all of the episodes again after all these years. |

Definitely will be picking this up! First Avenging Force and now Enter the Ninja. Kino is killing it with the Cannon classics.
Hopefully Revenge of the Ninja is not too far behind as well as an uncut release of Pray for Death. |

Id buy 9 Deaths in a heartbeat! The existing US DVD is horrible, nasty 4:3 and looks terrible. Ive got a Korean DVD which looks way better in the proper ratio of 2.35:1. 9 Deaths is absolutely hilarious!

Picture quality was great. I wonder if they did any extra work on the transfer or if the print was just in excellent shape to begin with. It looked better than many of the other MGM titles they've released so far: crisp, clean, free of debris. Very film-like. My gut tells me they did a little extra polishing on this one, maybe a whole new scan.
