It's worth twice that for PQ alone.

Granted, there aren't many situations where the same label is releasing the same discs on both sides of the Atlantic, so I can see why this hasn't come up much in the past - but it makes much more sense to me to have one main thread for this kind of thing.
I can see where your coming from but there are differences regarding pricing and availability that are region specific.
Regarding the quote on it being a bit less busy on here was in comparison to the US thread. But no matter it's picking up now.

I know at some point this will be significantly cheaper than the 15GBP I'm paying up, but Arrow deserve to be rewarded for their astounding efforts towards this cult classic in terms of both A/V presentation and a crazy slate of extras. Also, this one marks my 500th BD purchase (although that number assumes boxsets as single SKU's I think)

Just ordered this one from Diabolik , no sense in waiting for the North American rights issues to get sorted while this is available.

Can't wait!

Also pre-ordered The Island.

Just grabbed this from the Arrow UK store.

After using my reward points it came to £6.36 with shipping which is like $12-13 or so.

I ordered the Steelbook from Arrow UK on April 4th and am still waiting for it to ship. I hope they get more in stock soon. If canceling an order were as easy as Amazon makes it, I would do so and order from Diabolik as I'm in the US. Diabolik's stock appears to be moving fast.

I ordered on the 2nd of April and haven't had a shipping notification either. Worries me that they say "Stock on order" and Diabolik has ordered massive stock to cover US orders and more

I guess considering the official release date was just yesterday I shouldn't worry. I thought it had been released earlier this month.

The USA release was postponed

Update From Arrow Video Facebook
For members who ordered from Arrow Video online shops in USA
This Update is for the North America Release and does not affect the UK release

***BLOOD AND BLACK LACE US RELEASE UPDATE***
Unfortunately some rights issues have meant that we have to postpone our North American release of Blood and Black Lace. Pre-orders will be held while we try to resolve the issue but unfortunately no stock will be shipped in North America for the moment. We are working towards a resolution and hope you will bear with us.
As soon as we have more news on the situation we will post up another update so please stay tuned!

Note
UK release is unaffected and already has started shipping to customers
.

If you want this its available to order from Arrow Video UK
Steelbook
http://www.arrowfilms.co.uk/shop/ind...product_id=527

For Members in USA
The UK release is Region A and Region B

Sorry if my initial post was cryptic. I knew the US release was delayed. I canceled my Amazon US order and then ordered direct from Arrow UK on April 2nd. It would appear that I missed out on the first round of pre-order shipments. Seeing how other people were receiving their orders early I lost sight of the fact that the release date was just this past Monday.

Received my copy from amazon.uk and watched it this past weekend. Endless praise and kudos for Arrow's amazing restoration work!!

I'll admit that this was my first ever viewing of the film in its entirety, but as a Bava fan, a giallo fan, and based on the terrific releases Arrow has produced for his past films, it seemed like a no risk blind buy. No regrets!

Received my UK copy today and luckily had the time to watch it right away.
Really enjoyed it and am looking forward to checking out all the bonus features.

And its region free so really, there's no reason to wait for the North American rights to get sorted.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but my copy of the first Arrow release of Blood And Black Lace got a bit scratched, and I would like to replace it.

I was wondering: what is the difference between the new re-release of the film, and the old one?
If it's just disc 1 of the old 3 disc release (since some stores list it as a single disc release), is it exactly the same disc and the old one, or were any changes made?

thanks

Exactly the same disc. It just doesn't have the booklet and two DVDs, which you'll already have from the original release. It's a safe buy if you're just looking to replace.

Looks like the same disc:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blood-Black...=UTF8&qid=&sr=

And... aplogies for bumping a Bava thread are inherently unneccessary.

Thanks.

I guess that solves my "problem", since only the BD is affected.
