Beware Amazon de. packaging. I ordered Saw Anniversary Steelbook, arrived dented in flimsy card/envelope packaging, sent it back and second one arrived exactly the same, so now stopped ordering from them. I had to pay return postage twice and never got a full refund for postage either. Be warned!

I'm suprised, since other users seem to have had good luck with them....is it possible your experience was the exception, not the rule? I hope so.

amazon.de has the best packaging for steelbooks out of every amazon.

imo u were just unlucky with the packaging they used. ive always had stuff sent with the thick padded mailers.

I've had more items arrived damaged/lost from AmazonDE than any other Amazon I import from.

I've only ordered jurassic park from them and all 3 came in one big box but each was in one of those cardboard mailing boxes. Really well packaged imo.

Thats the reason I stopped buying from these guys, terrible packaging!
The exact same thing happened to me, first steelbook arrives dented & then the second one arrives in far worse condition that the first one, lol!
Got my money back but never ordered from them again!

Same thing happened to me with my order of the Saw steelbook from them.

I'm still going to hold out and hope for a slipped steel from Nova, Plain or, if it has to be, Kimchi. I just don't like that cover art enough to spend $35 on it.

This movie is most definitely good enough to double dip for me! Zavvi + any future special editions of it.

Same with Whiplash. Zavvi + Blu Collection/Kimchidvd + any others.

Yeah, I agree, if this art was different I would in a heartbeat, the film is spectacular. I would rather not have a steel at all than to buy this one for this much.

I'm fine waiting for something worth my money.

One man's dream is another man's...... I like the cover with the embossing and color scheme... I figure with the crazy amount of double dipping that I've been doing lately (no thanks to all of you steel-head's peer pressure), why stop now?
