Why do people keep asking this? A simple Google search will reveal that, no, this movie was not 3D in theaters.

The UK Paddington Bear website recently posted international release dates for this movie. Paddington will be released to Blu-ray in the US on April 28, 2015.

Fantastic movie - funny, sincere, very heartwarming. Perfect casting all around, especially for Paddington himself, but it's the direction that is the real standout. (You'll know what I'm talking about when you see how effectively the film uses visual effects.) That release date just can't get here soon enough.

I hope wal-mart puts out a Plush of Paddington! There's a cute one online but it's so expensive and wal-mart seems to put out lots of plushies! Can't wait to see this movie I've loved Paddington Bear forever.

I would actually be interested in a plush bear for this. The only other exclusive like that one that I purchased was the BBY exclusive talking Ted bear. Love that thing. A Paddington plush with coat and hat would just be an amazing addition to my collection.

oh I agree, I'm not sure why this wasn't released around Christmas time here in the States - it may have boosted it's box office intake.

This movie was pretty much my introduction to the character, and even I would be interested in a Paddington plush for myself.

Fret not! Paddington performed well at the US box office, even if its cultural impact in the US was relatively limited. Its worldwide gross will likely end up above $250 million, and the movie is already the highest-grossing movie ever for the studio, which is showing interest in doing a sequel. I know I would welcome another Paddington film from this creative team.

That's great news. I'll admit I didn't look at any financial earnings; I have just heard little to no conversation about this film. I'd also welcome a sequel. It was absolutely delightful and such a good kid's film imo with plenty for adults.

I'd agree with Dubstar. This movie probably would have benefited from a holiday release date.
