There were like 3-4 crossover episodes in Flash's first season, that would be almost a whole disc of extras. It would be nice, but I think Warner Bros. are expecting people's wallets to crossover too.

So if people both get Arrow S3 and Flash S1 will all the eps be on both sets?

I'm not 100% up to speed with the US schedules (or the crossovers), but if Arrow's third season contained the Flash and the Flash's first season featured characters from Arrow then, yes, buying both seasons will get all the crossover episodes. They'll just be with their respective series' sets and not as special bonuses.

It might be worth waiting until someone scans the discs to make sure they're not included as Easter Eggs, but I'm sure someone would have found them by now and mentioned it.

Very Soon. I decided to be smart this time because both Arrow seasons dropped to 19.99 just after a month of release.

I'm waiting for discount as well, to get both the 2nd and 3rd seasons

if I remember correctly, I bought the first season for less than $10, wasn't that impressed with the show, though, so didn't stick with it, but now I'm streaming 2 and it's pretty amazing, not even comparable with the first

what's the general consensus on the third season?
