I don't remember there ever actually being a reunion on his show. He was, back then, trying to get the cast to reunite on his show. I think he had some of the actors on individually (or otherwise contacted them), and kept asking if they'd do a reunion.

Back in summer 2009, Mark Paul Gosselaar appeared in character as Zack on his Late Night show to be interviewed, which was pretty funny (I had it DVRed at the time and watched it a few times). And he agreed to the reunion. Jimmy had this board with all of the characters on it, checking them off as they agreed to it.

But the only actual reunion that I recall resulting from that was a photo shoot for a magazine (I think it was People magazine or something akin to it). Dustin Diamond and Dennis Haskins were not included in it... it was just the four others who appeared in this recent Tonight Show skit and Lark Voorhies (Lisa). They weren't then, and odds are still aren't on good terms with Dustin. And I think they didn't want much to do with Dennis Haskins at the time either because he had gotten a reputation for using his fame from SBTB to hit on MUCH younger women/girls (of legal age, as far as I know, but still much, much, much younger), and he got kind of a creepy reputation for it. I guess they must have made some kind of peace with him or something since they did this recent skit together.

The thing that I noticed with this recent skit is that Mark (Zack) is showing his age more. He is about 40 or 41 now. He was in his mid 30s when he did that Late Night appearance in summer 2009. While he certainly didn't look like a teenager anymore even then, visually his age wasn't quite as obvious. Looking at him now, he is showing his age more. He doesn't look "bad" or anything, but he's clearly past the point of even being able to pull off a typical "hollywood teenager" (often played by people in their 20s and sometimes early 30s).

Of course the one who looks the most different is Belding since he put on so much weight over the years.

Yeah, he got a lot of heat for writing that tell all book and it seems like the rest of the cast wants nothing to do with him because of it.

Ah, that would explain Tiffani's awkward encounter with him on the Today show some years back.

from yahoo news

Though Jimmy Fallon's amazing Saved by the Bell reunion on The Tonight Show featured fan favorites Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, and even Dennis Haskins (Principal Belding), plenty of people were left wondering, "Where's Lisa Turtle?"

According to her publicist, the 40-year-old actress was just too busy.

"Lark would have loved to be part of the Jimmy Fallon skit (as she is a big fan of the show), however due to an intense work schedule she was not available," her publicist told E! News about her absence.

As for Dustin Diamond, his absence from Wednesday night's reunion is perhaps more explainable. The 38-year-old actor pleaded not guilty to stabbing a man in December, and his tell-all book about his time on the beloved series -- 2009's Behind the Bell -- wasn't exactly positive.

on a side note i'm surprise tiffani and dennis both agree with skit but they weren't together because on the today's show she didn't like him very much

Eh? Her reaction didn't change or alter from before he appeared.. sounds like just your typical media scare mongering about a non-existent resentment between the two.

So this show is -
Wake Up, Miss Bliss!
The main show
The 1 season college series
The 4 part wedding special
The terrible new class series
Really need to get this whole thing except for the last part on DVD this year

Be prepared for a lot of frustration with the main series' menu design; it sucks big-time. There's no "special features" secton at all, so the only way you even know bonus content exists is by clicking on the related episode. The ones without extras start automatically, while the others result in a separate menu to turn the commentary on or off. Whoever designed those menus should've been fired...seriously.

Also, "Wedding in Las Vegas" was originally a 2-hour telefilm, split into 4 parts for reruns. You also omitted the "Hawaiian Style" movie, but its contained in a (separately purchased) double-feature DVD with "Vegas".

Oh, and the original series' early episodes were titled "Good Morning, Miss Bliss". Its never been released on any home-video format, that I can recall.

Yeah I just noticed that exists, no idea when the Hawaiian style movie takes place though. Still not sure how I feel about the replacement friends for Kelly in the College Years season but I hate that show far less than I used to.

"Hawaiian Style" takes place after the original series, but before "The College Years" and "Wedding in Las Vegas".

Tiffani Thiessen reprised her role of "Kelly Kapowski" on that show, about halfway through its one-year run. The final episode deals with Kelly worrying about her wedding plans, which leads into the "Vegas" movie that ties everything up.

As far as I am aware, everything you have listed here is available to purchase except for the Good Morning, Miss Bliss episodes which to me, should be out there too if the rest of the show is going to be. My favorite episode from that point of the show is when Screech doesn't laugh when the new kid in school tells him that he can't read.

God bless you always!!!

Nothing new other than the Reunion and the Jimmy Fallon skit. Still need to get this on DVD, although I think I probably need to avoid the New Class show for the rest of my life.

The New Class was the absolute WORST. Had a good looking cast member...think her name was bianca but that wasn't enough lol.

I think I remember seeing parts of it but meh, College Years was already a step down from the Bayside years, I'm probably not missing out. Not sure who's hotter, Elizabeth Berkley or Tiffani Thiessen, they're both strikingly attractive.

The "Miss Bliss" episodes are available as part of the Complete Collection box set from Shout Factory. They're the syndicated versions though, not the original broadcast ones.

Not really feeling the trailer outside of seeing the old cast. Girl Meets World and similar reboots have kind of been the same way. The former cast as matured mentors is obviously the next step, but it's just not the same experience since they're older and basically taking on supporting roles to showcase a younger demographic of actors and more modern themes.

I thought this was going to be a traditional sitcom like the original. Disappointed. I like what I see of the original cast, and I guess I should have expected them to be relegated to supporting/recurring roles. Would have been nice to have at least one moment with Zack, even just a little teaser at the very end. But I don't have nor plan to get Peacock, so I guess I won't be seeing it either way.
