I remember watching this late at night on TV in the 90's and enjoyed it then. I'm curious how I'd feel about the movie today.

I get what you're saying about the alien, but I think thats what they were going for. It supposed to have an old pulp sci-fi feel to it, and a lot of the old film monsters and aliens looked pretty cheesy and fake ( basically like a guy in a suit ). So they definitely accomplished that. But yep I'd recommend it too.

Its great for what it is...I enjoyed it and will watch it again very soon. Just a fun movie that works .
