My order just shipped. Unfortunately, it seems that the international shipping has been REALLY slow lately. The last thing I ordered from Amazon UK took over two weeks, It used to take only about a week, sometimes less. The last order I placed with Amazon.de took almost a month! Could be the weather, I guess.

Same here. But Amazon.de orders have always taken longer to deliver to my area than Amazon UK orders.

Good for those in the UK, however, most if not all third party sellers will not ship to the US.

Some do, some don't, you have to check.
The Canny Store does ship internationally.

Received my copy yesterday, taking 3 days to import to the U.S.. Verified the disc is Region A capable.

David Attenborough's Conquest of the Skies is one of his best 3D nature series. 208 minutes, 3 programs covering nature's first flight attempts up until the present time. Remarkable native-3D cinematography capturing nature as never before. The release also has an excellent 50 minute Behind The Scenes 2D Film showing the latest techniques as to how they filmed the subject with the latest 3D equipment, from the newest thousand frame per second motion picture cameras capturing humming bird details to 4K 3D aerial close-ups of flying animals with an eight-engine heavy-duty drone copter.

David talks about how he wanted this to be the greatest culmination of his study of evolution, an interest that included a trip he took 40 years ago and now revisiting at age 88.. He doubts he will ever be able to have another opportunity.

What? I probably won't have mine for another week or so, maybe longer according to their delivery estimate.

Amazon.co.uk's current sale is £9.99 (not too shabby) bought it with a copy of David Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive 3D (at £7.72)

not to gloat, but I ordered the two discs last Thursday and they arrived this afternoon - not sure why Amazon decided to break my order into two separate orders the other being Monday's release of Kon-tiki (2012) - for awhile the UK's delivery was ultra slow, but I guess they are getting their act together.

Can anyone tell me if the UK version has both a 2D and 3D disc, both on one disc or just in 3D?

It's one disc. It'll play both 2D and 3D.

Yep - confirmed. I can also say without question that this is one of the best 3D documentary discs EVER. I got mine in the Attenborough trilogy that included Micro Monsters & Plant Kingdoms, both of which are also excellent.

I paid $20 bucks to my DOOR from Amazon UK. Crazy good deal.

It's a great entry of the David Attenborough series. Like s2, have it in the triology which is all region except for the special features which is B only. One of my favorites.
