I dont think I'll ever become the anime collector like some of you guys, but I'm starting to understand how you guys sometimes feel when animes are announced and you just feel compelled to buy them

I can barely force my way through the Season one boxset I got a considerable length of time ago, not that I dislike it I've just been on disc 2 since like 2009. I only upgrade if I think I'll be rewatching it or it has special meaning and I don't see myself making that decision for Darker Than Black any time soon so I'll just be getting a standard edition some time later if anything (I'll chuck it in my S2 box, despite guaranteed different case sizes :P).
Basically it's really NOT high priority. Like at all.

The worst part about it was I had stopped buying tell I watched some on Netflix. Then I was like hmm maybe I should get these in case I want to watch them again....then it all went down hill.

Season one gets better the deeper into the season. It's one of those rare anime that actually builds up to better quality.

Speaking of Darker Than Black Season 2, here is the Blu-ray combo pack for $23.50 shipped. A couple of copies are available, this is a pretty reliable seller in my experience.

I'm really curious as to what size the packaging will be.

And which version of Season Two should I be looking for if I can't get the LE? There is like two versions and G1 version and then a G2 version, well make that three with the Classic Line coming.

Probably G1, so we can fit the Season 2 G2 combo pack inside splendidly, with plenty of room to spare at the top... just as Funimation has been so good at doing in the past, lol...

So should I keep the G1 Season 2 I got in today? I want the LE but apparently people can't get UPC or pictures correct.

I was only kidding - have there been any photos of the packaging posted anywhere yet? I have no idea what the S1 LE is going to look like - Probably Ponycan-sized, to really screw us over...

And if they try to do another LP-size trifold packaging like Bebop, I'll throw the dang packaging away and put it all in a multidisc case. Friggin' easel...

Nope nothing yet but again I wouldn't doubt it'll be trifold or something crazy. I really just hope it is a slipbox. I don't care if it is G1 or G2.

The UPC is: 704400074615

And I bet that the specialty “classified” packaging will be Hei's mask that you can put on that easel for display. And it will be made so that you can't put season 2 in it obviously

Cardboard slots for the discs, I see, just like Bebop... not even a digipak. I'll keep the art book, the postcards and discs will go into my S2 LE box, and the rest is going in the trash...

I can't believe there isn't a regular edition, or at least a case included in the premium one. Not sure I'm going to pick this up.

We should all mass-email Funi and tell them to give up on these over-sized non-standard Collector's Editions - all us Collectors don't even want them...

A collector's edition that collectors don't want...hahaha

It's sad but true. They could easily avoid such trouble is they included a case with it so people can actually be able to put the dang thing on their shelf.

I'll be picking this release up regardless, but, ugh, I really wish that the discs weren't in slots.
