Do the DMC exclusives ever turn up in the Disney Movie Rewards thing as point rewards?

I'm assuming you didn't pay $8-9 for each?
Because anything more than that IS ludacris since that's what the seller (and anyone in the US) could get them for

Could have been worse. Just glad we are getting this on Blu-Ray. The restoration on Vudu is astounding.

I'm one step closer to joining DMC, but I'm still not quite there. Haha.

After another couple of desired releases, I'll dive in. (Unless I find these movies from third-party Amazon dealers first)

Me too. I may have to cave. This, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, and the Love Bug movies.

If they announce Darby O'Gill and the Little People, you can stick a fork in me. I am done and in.

I am thinking 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea will be a general release.

I'd sign up in a heartbeat for Treasure Island. Darby O'Gill would be another good one as well.

Yes...as soon as I finish it . You should check in on the "custom Cover" thread occasionally. There are several guys making custom covers for many, many Blu-ray releases. I'll finish my cover and post it in that thread, and upload it to EuphoricFX.org, when I get full disc specs (usually when the disc is released).

I am guessing this will be like the other previous Vault Disney Collection 2-disc DVD titles - ZERO bonus material and commentaries as it was likely already pressed or being pressed when I voiced my concerns about these releases to CEO Bob Iger at the shareholder meeting a few weeks ago. He said he was going to put me in touch with the right people to get better answers about these releases and the lack of 3D releases.

Have their been any reviews (with screen captures) of The Love Bug yet? What has the general quality been like with these releases? Have they put any money into the releases? Have they been tampered with, DNR specifically?

I hope they did a better transfer than the Pollyanna release.

I'm not sure about DNR but the picture compared to the DVD was considerably improved. As far as quality, its a toss up. The movie itself is great. The menus: poor - Only options are Play and Scene Selection. The Pollyanna menu has the old font and cover image of what the DVD has and what the wide release was going to have - so it does not match the new cover art. Which seems like that would have been a simple fix. Bonus features: extremely poor - unless you count subtitles (which you can only turn on with your remote) as "bonus" material - there is none on these releases so far. Which is a crying shame when you look at the bounty of material the DVDs have. All of those featurettes could easily fit on a blu-ray disc and even more so a simple commentary track would easily fit. Especially where some of those cast members such as Buddy Hackett are no longer with us. But now the only way to enjoy his commentary is to pop in the lower video quality DVD.

That's an ugly Blu-ray cover, but I'll probably get it anyway, though I can just watch it on Vudu. Recently Turner Classic Movies showed THIRD MAN ON THE MOUNTAIN in HD and that was an excellent transfer too. It's also on Vudu, I believe.

So I am assuming no special features like the DMC exclusives. I was disappointed with The Love Bug because there was a 2-disc special edition on dvd, but the Blu-ray got zero special features.
