Very Happy, this is hands down Scream's best announcement in quite awhile.

Very good news - this one's on my list of blu-ray must-haves. I almost picked up the German release, but I'm glad I waited.

Finally, a release really worthy of Scream Factory's early standards.

Fantastic news!!! I've wanted a U.S. Release of this for years....

The German disc looks pretty good but has the opening title credit in Greman which really threw the film off for me when I screened it last year.

I am so grateful for Scream for getting this fascinating and fanatically creepy classic to Blu.

The German BD is just passable as a HD transfer, will it be a new transfer??

Interesting.

One name missing from the cast list is Richard Dreyfuss, blink and you'll miss him

I've (somehow) never heard of this. That's a terrible trailer, but it somehow still manages to look moderately interesting.

They said it'll be whatever Universal gives them.

Well this is a better announcement than the 90's B movies we've been getting lately.

The film had 2 theatrical trailers. The other one is rare (parts of it may still be on YouTube) and much better. HBO used fottage from that trailer for the films preview. I vividly remember it being extremely creepy. I believe the link to the trailer here is supposedly the "teaser".

Hopefully Scream can get both trailers and master them in their original aspect ratio.

This flick scared the bejesus outta me when I was a kid! I must own it. Its like "Freaks" meets "The Exorcist." It was absolutely terrifying.

It's only interesting if you like terrible Michael Winner films. It's hysterically bad, and like most Winner films, in pretty terrible taste as well.

That's gotta be one of the most bizarre posts I've ever read. Because most modern horror is in GOOD TASTE!?!???

Ummmm...

Michael Winner did DEATH WISH.... hardly a terrible film, then again neither is THE SENTINEL (though I will admit the bad taste part)

All Michael Winner's films were terrible by his own admission, I disagree though. Pretty much love all his work, The Sentinel included. His commentary on the German/Austrian BD is hilarious

Jeff Goldblum

and Tom Beringer who plays a vital role.

It's a fun flick.
One other actress not listed is a young Nana Visitor. If you are a Star Trek DS9 fan she played Kira.
