Stupid...I guess the BB Exclusive will be to give you a UV of a older movie.

I wish BB would have kept the Figurine Exclusive but I guess now anyone can get them.

Likely Warner's decision.

I'm sure it was. I'm sure people complaining that they weren't able to get them at BB was another reason they decided to go this route as well.
I wonder if we all complain enough they will make the steelbooks non Target Exclusives as well haha.

Yeah, i have the SD version of Under the Red Hood, and best buy is including the HD version. So i just went with the regular for $12.99 version from amazon.com. And also the price went up by $7 from previous edition. Because the price was always $17.99-$19.99 on release week and its not an exclusive so its not worth collecting them anymore.

That alone is why I don't think I will get them. They from being low then they slowly kept coming up and up. And not they full blown want to charge almost $30 for them. Not thanks...I'd rather get the regular releases or the steelbooks.
And although for Batman vs Robin the BB Exclusive with the Under the Redhood in HD was worth it as that is one of the better movies.

Looks like the related Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles animated series will be premiering on June 8, 2015 -- before the release of the animated feature blu-ray on July 28, 2015.

Oh, I guess no one posted anything here on this before. But, yeah, there's to be a Justice League: Gods and Monsters animated series.

Here's the info:

Quote:
From visionary producer and animator Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series), Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles turns the DC Universe upside-down. In this dark, alternate world, telling the good guys from the bad guys is never easy: Superman is not the son of Jor-El, he’s the son of General Zod; Wonder Woman is not from peaceful Themyscira, but rather the warring nation of Ares; and Batman is more vampire-bat than man…and he’s not Bruce Wayne. It is unclear if our greatest heroes are here to protect us…or to rule us. With Season 1 set to launch in June, Machinima, Blue Ribbon Content and DC Entertainment have already begun development on Season 2, a 10-episode follow-up to the initial limited series.

That is just dumb. So now to understand the movie you need to watch a TV series before it? I think I'm out on this one entirely.

I'm personally really excited about the mini-series. It seems like the film will stand on its own, but Timm is going to have a lot of extra mythology added which is great.

When they announced this I was so excited, but also sad that Timm would only have 90-120 min to show his own version of the DC Universe. Being able to add more and more to that world will be fantastic, he's got quite a history of expanding already epic shows to something even more epic. The more the merrier with me.

From what I understand, the movie stands on its own and the first season (which only consists of three episodes -- each being an origin story for each of the three characters) is just back story. The expanded second season won't take place until after the movie.

I was hoping that the three-part first season episodes were included on the blu-ray, but it doesn't look like it.

I didn't know this about these episodes. I was planning up the comic books coming out, but they're described as origin stories too, and Bruce Timm is a co-writer on them. So I guess they tell the same story. Thanks for the heads up. I guess I won't miss much if i decide to just read the books.

Target is notorious for adding their SB listing close to release date, so still plenty of time
