It may be dumb, but I'd like to have Little Nicky on Blu-Ray.

I absolutely do. It has company, in a completely different way, with the likes of Grown Ups (1 & 2), and Jack & Jill, but I don't think I enjoyed any part of PDL. It wasn't because I dislike Sandler either.

PDL is very different and it took me a view or two before it set its hooks in me but now it is one of my favorites. It is just a different side of him the I really enjoyed

These movies i'm referring to are of course Punch-Drunk Love and Spanglish. Two of the most wonderful movies ever made actually.
Sandler's films from his brief effort in the early 2000s to tackle a dramatic career. He seems to have just lapsed back into puerile comedy. It's too bad, because I think he has the ability to do well in more dramatic films or even other genres. I think he's just lazy and takes the easy paychecks.

Of those two films though, I'd only be interested in PDL, Spanglish was good but I don't have a desire to re-watch it.

Every time one of these threads comes up I'm always surprised by the amount of good Adam Sandler movies. I mean, what happened to this guy! I've actually never seen any of his movies except for Blended (and if that's considered one of his better modern movies then I never want to be in the same room as Grown Ups 2), so I'm not sure whether I should watch his early, good stuff, since if I like them I'm pretty sure it'll make me even more sad he's wasting his talent on awful films.

How can you say what happened to him if you've not seen any of his movies?? Take a hike man. That is some ridiculous stuff right there

Happy Gilmore is my favourite Adam Sandler movie. Jack and Jill was horrible.

Good point, I should watch some of his early stuff before making an opinion. Now I have some more motivation to finally watch The Wedding Singer now!

The Wedding Singer is actually pretty good. It's not that far out there like some of his flicks are but to me they are almost all gold! [emoji38]

Lightbulb Spanglish, please!

I'm definitely down for some Spanglish. Great flick that I'd love to own on Blu someday!
