the hd dvd fans say stupider and stupider stuff every single day, you can tell they are getting desperate. washed up will ferrel and c- comedies like hot rod must not be suiting their fancy, it's such a shame they don't really have too much else exclusive to their format.

Because he's not a reliable news source

I saw the post title and thought, ok this could be interesting then realized it was just something dumb someone you know said lol

Sorry man, didn't mean to be hard on ya or anything. Just wish all news worthy stuff came from good sources that's all.

I almost feel bad for these HD-DVD fanboys who are left clinging to fake rumors

I have a friend who work in the film industry, from what he told me is that Paramount/Dreamwork/Spielberg/Lucas/Warner are all going Blu shortly.

This only leave Universal on the HD-DVD camp. But of course my sources also tells me Universal will be moving shortly as well.

Hows that? If anyone can make claims, I can too.

if sony is paying off bay to be blu supporter than microsoft is paying toshiba to be hd dvd supporter...check this quote out

Bill Hunt of Digital Bits explained to InternetNews that Toshiba was ready to drop HD-DVD and join Blu-ray in 2005 until an unnamed company, which Hunt believes to be Microsoft, “pressured the company to stick with HD DVD since so much time and money had been invested in it.”

“Everything I’ve been told,” Hunt said, “is a lot of people in the HD DVD camp were ready to throw in the towel in late 2005 and something kept them from doing it. Microsoft seems to be the company that is running around crowing the loudest about HD DVD.”

Thumbs up Ahh Just Die Hd-dvd and let blu-ray shine

hello all iam new to the forum i am a strong blu-ray supporter. i think that transformers should be released on blu-ray it would look much nicer and Michael bay is not bashing his movie he is bashing the studio for releasing his awesome movie on hd-dvd not blu-ray. hd-dvd is crappy quailty with no class. blu-ray is the top of the mountain and the best thing that ever happened to the movie industry. so what paramount got a payoff big deal so they extended hd-dvds life span for a little bit more big deal. PARAMOUNT WAKE UP AND SWITCH BACK TO BLU-RAY. BLU-RAY WILL WIN AND DESTROY HD-DVD. I will never buy or see another movie by paramount until they swicth back to blu-ray. Money Hungry Basterds. BLU-RAY ALL THE WAY. Thanks For Listening.

Isn't life funny? Here, you are a welcome new member with a hero attitude. At AVS, you would be a troll.

this post needs to be removed or the title changed to include "rumor". last thing we need is to spread this rumor any more.

This is just stupid no one payed Bay he knows quality and thats what he wants consumers to know. He basically is just stating facts and saying to the general public: "OPEN UP YOUR EYES, there is NO competition, Blu ray is the dominant format" we understand it but the average joe does'nt and HD Fanboys will deny til they die.

Thank you Michael Bay and you are gaining more supporters every day.

I let him know that to me it doesn't seem like he's sabotaging his own movie, but Paramount did, and if anything he's promoting it.
Anyhoo, normally this is a pretty cool guy, but I had to call him out on this.

Hmmm, I have seen this before. It's called the "He tell me" phenomenon.

Default Michael Bay, just needs to STFU

I'm tired of all this Michael Bay crap. All he does is talk, talk, talk. He sitting in the middle of HD DVD and Blu-ray and it seems like he's just trying to stir $h!t up. If he's physically going to do nothing about it, and decides to make transformers 2 regardless if its on HD DVD, then F^*k'm! He just wants the attention and chaos and you people are giving it to him. GOOD JOB!
