Nice, I loved Bloodborne and am eager to revisit the Souls games because of it. Funny, as I disliked Demon's quite a bit when it first came out (that sucker was hard) but just when I thought I was out, From pulls me back in!

Loved Bloodborne but this would be my first Souls games. Also depends on how hard DS3 is I guess. BB almost killed me it seems.

If this has fast loading times, I'm all for it. I don't mind getting killed but if I have to wait half a minute to resume, these games kill it for me.

Thanks for the update.

Worth noting that leak comes from the same guys hat said MS were buying Silent Hills rights from Konami for Billions of Dollars and that the game was 80% complete. So tread with caution on this one.

The HUD seems to be lifted from the 1st game.

This would be pretty exciting for me to see! I enjoyed Bloodborne, but it's no where near the quality of DS1 in my opinion.

The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016. PC is also listed, but is accompanied by the word “negotiable.”
The game will support “1-4 players,” meaning it’s possible you can summon more than one friend or there might be a player-versus-player element.
10 playable classes, all available from the beginning of the game.
45 new enemies, 15 new bosses. Characters and monsters from previous games are not included in that count.
100 new weapons and 40 new armor sets with returning equipment not counted in that number.
60 minutes of cutscenes, mostly in engine, rather than pre-rendered.
There will be around 12 areas in the game.
Will change the way you interact with players online. You’ll now participate in “Sacrifice Ceremonies.” You can drag bodies around, choose where to sacrifice them, perform the ritual, and visit another player’s game. Doing this makes you a target for other players. These will also change your game, such as a sacrifice creating a bonfire at the location you choose to sacrifice the body.
Light sources and enemy layouts have been changed.
BOss battles have a new “Heat Up” factor that “completely change” boss battles based on undescribed factors.
The game will add “Sword Fighting Arts,” which including “Rush In” and “Circle.” The former is a sacrifice attack that allows you to dive into an opponent and take damage while delivering a huge hit, while the latter sounds like a dodge move.

I was happy with the gameplay as it was. I will reserve my anticipation until we know more.

I was hoping we could get to E3 without any significant leak... so I'm kinda hoping this will prove fake... But that's a ton of stuff to be fake

Following previous rumors suggesting the still unannounced Dark Souls 3 would release in 2016, IGN has obtained a Dark Souls 3 promotional image for E3 narrowing the release window.

The unreleased, official art below displays an armored hero covered tattered cloth and flames, as well as the suggested launch frame of "Early 2016."

This follows an earlier rumor that Dark Souls 3 would appear at E3, the video game industry trade show happening June 16-18, 2015, and later launch on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. We've contacted publisher Bandai Namco for additional information.

It seems all of e3 is being leaked beforehand lately. I don't remember too many surprises last year.

The only game in From Software's series I haven't played is Dark Souls II. Looking at the screen shots at the top of the page as well as watching the trailer on the PS4 when I was thinking of buying it, why does it look like it has worse graphics than Dark Souls I???

The PS3 version of Dark Souls II is definitely not as nice looking. The texture quality and assets seem to be of lower quality and just the art design in general. If I didn't know Dark Souls II was II, I would have guessed Dark Souls was the improved sequel. The atmosphere and art style and especially the world design (interconnectivity) is a lot better in the first Dark Souls. I think the first has a better sense of exploration as well due to the level design and how things connect. Dark Souls II feels a lot more linear.

That said I bought the PS4 version of Dark Souls II as well and enjoy but I would much rather have had a Dark Souls upgrade on the PS4. Dark Souls II PS4 runs very smoothly and has some upgrades here and there, it is a very clean looking game but still flat looking in a lot of spots. That said it still looks like a HD port of a last gen game. Comparing it to say Bloodborne graphics is large delta (true the 30fps of Bloodborne also enables them to do more visually). You can see from all the videos.

I haven't actually finished it yet, it includes all three DLC packs and overall has a lot of content and well worth the price in my opinion, just that the first game is better.

Demon's Souls has harder levels/regular enemies, while Bloodborne has harder bosses

See this has me even more mixed about buying DSII or not. I would like to have played all the games in this overall series but as you and others have mentioned it sounds like a lot of the changes in DSII were for the worse if you loved Demon Souls and the first Dark Souls. I love how in Dark Souls and Bloodborne how it's all connected and you can find shortcuts and go your own way for the most part. Dark Souls was the best at it because in Bloodborne there is an element of it being a little more linear until you get to the Cathedral and can then choose if you want to go to the Woods or the area with the Witches as well as that one area I always forget the name of. The one you get to when those bagmen kill you. I think I'll just wait for the downloadable content for Bloodborne.

Yeah, the bosses in Demon Souls weren't all that hard but I was talking about the overall game, or as you put it the regular enemies and harder levels. Seriously, f*** certain parts of Valley of Defilement. Once you get it down it's not That bad but at the same time I dreaded playing through that place.
