Really? I checked my credit card statement and it seems to have shipped at the reduced price, so that's not good if they charged you more. I pre-ordered mine weeks ago when it was the original $39.98 price, so I was worried about that too.

Yeah mine shipped at the 39.98 price, plus some $3 tax charge and $8 and change shipping charge. So, little over $50. I don't mind in this case though. I purposely didn't see this in theaters so I could watch it when I received the steelbook and I'm dying to see this. Edit: I just remembered when I ordered the GOTG steel they did the same thing and shipped at higher price but they adjusted after they shipped it and credited my cc.

Same. Which is good, because I don't want to have a refund done since I'll lose money in the reverse exchange rate.

If they automatically refunded you previously, then I guess wait to see if that happens and contact them if they don't. It's weird you got charged tax on top of the price since GST is included in the pricing already. Unless it's for the country you're having it sent to?

I was guessing it was tax, I don't know for sure. It said $3.40 with initials next to it I didn't recognize. I will email them if there is no correction done though. They've always been easy to deal with.

So you might find that if other local competitors drop their price to secure sales (as happened in the example above) JB will issue a credit to your card.

Yeah, I noticed that as well when I went online last night to check if the price had gone down.

Wonder if it'll come back online in stock or if that's it for online orders and you have to get it instore.

The steelbook has come up on NZ JB Hi Fi now, currently at $58. I remember the guardians and winter soldier steels from last year being about $44, will the price on this come down before wednesday?

Bloody hell, I guess they changed their minds, because as I said on the last page, when I emailed them in late July they said we weren't getting it. But I paid NZ$44.xx for it from JB Oz, and I get the collector's postcards, so it's not all bad.

As for the pricing, I only bought the WS, IM3 and TDW steels late last year and they were $44 at that time (minus 20% on special), but TDW had the $58.98 sticker still on it, so it's hard to say if they'll be cheaper on release date or if you'll have to wait a while for it to come down.

It was indeed (AU$32.98 plus AU$4.25 shipping), but you won't be able to order it right now since it's not showing on the Aussie site any more. Guess you'll have to see if they put it up again because they've only got the regular amaray releases listed at the moment.
