I'm not at 4K yet. Will probably be a while before I make that jump because I've only had my Panasonic for four years (knock on wood). Would you still suggest it?

Yes, its faster and future proof

True, but then I'd break my budget before adding on both ethernet and HDMI cords. Not to mention, Star Wars Battlefront is going to break me in three weeks.

I will take it under consideration though, Mike. Thank you for the suggestion. Question is, how likely is it that these go on sale during Black Friday week? Not just the Roku but also every other device on the market?

They will probably be on sale around BF, how much, who knows, which ones, who knows.

I may hold out to see what happens and let enough time pass for new reviews to pop up for the 4K Fire TV. But question on the Roku 4 and whether it'll work with my system. My Onkyo is not compatible with HDCP 2.2, which I've read may be a stickler with Roku 4.

I really just want a player that will give me 5.1 or Dolby Digital Plus for Amazon, HBO Go, and Netflix right now. Those are the big three I care about as far as surround goes.

Forgive my ignorance! I think I'll be putting an order in soon for the Roku 4.

Is there anyway to actually list the 4k movies on this thing?
