You have the most interesting taste on movies.

I want to see the movie first then wait for a non-Zavvi steelbook release. If there are none then I'd be happy to get the digital copy.

People that really liked Prisoners and Enemy didn't enjoy this film too much.
But the people that didn't like Prisoners and Enemy really liked this film.

I loved Prisoners a LOT. I never did see Enemy yet. And I didn't like Sicario. I will never watch it again, and would never spend money on a blu ray release of it.
I loved Prisoners, thought Enemy was average at best, and loved Sicario.

I still haven't seen Enemy. Prisoners, though, is fantastic.

Maleficent, a few Marvel films, etc.

To name a few that did.

Fans of this director should really make it a point to see Incendies. Still probably his best work (and nominated for best foreign film from the Academy no less). It is rarely talked about. Polytechnique is also a pretty strong piece though most will say it is a rip off of something like Elephant.

According to the image in the email, it's supposed to be exclusive though. Maybe the email is a mistake (forgot to remove "exclusive")?

it started out good and went flat. great cast was wasted, especially benicio del toro. excellent premise and opportunity wasted. total disappointment.

Exactly. I thought the opening scene of the film was amazing, and could have led down a million different paths. Knowing his work before, I expected it to be darker, and more crime related...not such a basic war procedural. I was wanting some cool like almost Dexter-ish crime mystery about the person/people that were behind all the dead bodies in the house.

Great movie. Don't get the hate. And seeing as it's not a zavvi exclusive then I'll wait for it to drop in price.

I liked all of them, funnily enough because I enjoy, uh, all of Denis Villeneuve's films.

Whooooosh.

That's the sound of you completely missing the point of this film.
