Disney owns all of them. I doubt it will happen anyway, but distribution rights aren't a problem.

That's what I'm thinking at this point too. I was hoping originally that it would release around Jessica Jones Season 1, but that seems unlikely now. It's too bad, because it seems like it would help to be released ahead of the holiday season. Alas, that doesn't seem to be happening.

The holiday bump would have been a good idea, but I can see the blu rollout plan being to pair Daredevil S1 blu with Daredevil S2 and Jessica Jones S1 blu with Luke Cage S1 being released on Netflix. Means a longer wait but it might make more sense for promotion of the release it would be paired with.

The vast majority of shows get released on Blu-ray (or DVD) shortly before the next season airs (or streams). There is no reason to be concerned about a release not happening until season 2 is available.

Is daredevil not getting a bluray or dvd release at all? What I mean is does Netflix have a contract with Disney where any material made for Netflix stays on Netflix only meaning no did or bluray release ever?
