This December, I have purchased like 1BD from my local shop (Paprika) 9BDs from Amazon US (Stranger than Fiction, Tekkon Kinkreet, Superbad, The Prestige, The Lookout, American Psycho, Rescue Dawn, Ratatouille, The Lives of Others), 2 BDs from Amazon Fr (La Vie en Rose, The Science of Sleep) and 1 BD from Amazon UK (Days of Glory). It's insane. If I'm not expecting an Amazon box to pop by, I get the itch.

I think this is where the BOGOs work in the long term. It gets you hooked into buying more than you should that even if it's full price, you won't care as long as you sustain your need for new smelling discs.

Is there a Blu-Ray rehab somewhere in Mexico or something?

Trust me, I read your original post and I feel sorry for your bank account. LOL!!!!

If you keep this up you'll have to start working again to support your habit. God knows if I didn't have bills or if I had a large sum of money to play with I would buy about 10 Blu-rays a week. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought way too many in that last couple of months. 36 Warner titles alone with two pre-ordered. And that's counting the Harry Potter Giftset as only 1 title.

P.S. Make that 37 if we are counting New Line.

So true, so true! Darn you, PS3, for burning a hole in my wallet! In the two months I went Blu, I bought the same amount of titles that usually takes me a year on DVD. Even when I tell myself to put a limit on Blu purchases, the spending gets even crazier!

Like this month. I promised myself to only buy Pirates 3... ended up with that, Superbad, and HP5. =/

This is not good for a college student.

I find myself buying Blu-ray in excess and even more so with the WB desicion in the balance. Once this damn "war" is over and done with, I'll finally be able to buy at a normal pace....yeah right! hahah I'm so addicted to Blu "it should be illegal, like copyright infringement!"

You don't have to feel bad. Remember, "Normal" is a subjective perseption. Guilt has now been relinquished.
