Finished the season this morning, looking forward to season 3.

I know I should start hating Mickey for those last three episodes but Gillian really plays her with such a likeable, wounded individual who is trying to be better.

Rewatched season 1 last week. Just as good around again. Watched the first 3 of season 2 and it's great

Watched this after so many strong recommendations here and absolutely hated the first episode. Didn't find anybody to be remotely likeable or real.

However, I am through 6 episodes and it's definitely grown on me. Still don't find the characters overly realistic but I am still starting to care about them.

In my experience, even F-ups as good looking as Gillian Jacobs screw around mostly with much better looking F-ups than any of her exes.

Oh, and the threesome in episode one? Come on, he's already into it and it freaked him out enough to bail because they were sisters? No way.

Oh, and Iris Apatow is a scene stealer.

You'd want to have a threesome with siblings? My reaction was the same thing as his while watching

Sisters would have made it (at least) 10x better.

Never enjoyed watching a show that makes me this uncomfortable. I did a lot of crazy things when I was young but I didn't know anybody like these characters.

Best outfit from season one:

Yeah, I like the show but agree with pretty much everything you've said here. It's hard to buy some of the characters' actions all of the time. Not just their actions, but the situations they seem to end up in too.

That's so weird.

I find it to be the exact opposite. I feel like Gus is EXTREMELY likable, and super super super realistic. I feel like his awkward approach to dating and being a loner is more realistic than 90% of characters in other shows/movies.

But he's not a loner. He has a group of friends, which he's pretty central to, hosting regular group parties. He is outgoing, we've seen him turn up at a party full of strangers and end up playing guitar and singing to the crowd. We've seen him rambling on and on to shop assistants. We've seen him juggling women, one of them an attractive busty actress (his ex was attractive also). That's all BS. That's not the life of an introverted passive aggressive dorky loner. This comes across as much of a vanity project for Paul Rust as Californication was for David Duchovny.

Don't bring David Duchovny into this!!!

But yeah, you're kind of right. Love is an enjoyable show for the most part, but you need to look past a lot of stuff in order to not get too annoyed with it.

And not character related, but in the shrooms episode I rolled my eyes pretty hard at how they broke into a house through the front window and escaped through the same window while hearing a car arrive and somehow got away scot-free.

Well on Earth where I live, two sisters having sex is absolutely illegal.

Technically, I don't know how anyone would prove sisters had sex, but they were explicit in saying they didn't do that any only wanted to share him. Totally and 100% legal. Even in Alabama (probably).

Season 2 is finished. I liked how they went different than the typical route for some of the later episodes. Cannot wait for season 3.

One little thing that bothered me was the timing for the airing of
[Show spoiler]the final Witchia episode because we all know that shoot to air time would not be just a week or so lol
I feel like that could have been saved until season 3.

I came across this fantastic show while browsing Netflix for something new to watch. Binged the first season in a night and will finish season two tonight. Great show.

Mickey's ex-boyfriend turned into a character from a Brian De Palma thriller in that last episode.

I thoroughly enjoyed season one, but so far season two is much better.

I also just finished season 2, and I loved it. Loved to hate it. I hate Mickey for what she did. But at the same time I still want to see them end up together and happy. I just hope
[Show spoiler]Gus finds out Mickey cheated on him, takes some time off, but they end up finding each other again in the end. I want full disclosure with a happy ending.

Mickey is soooo horrible. I don't know how she can redeem herself.

They're both pretty annoying. By the end (of season 2) I really couldn't stand the sight of him.
