Wait to see if they release bluetooth guitars come January. My bets are this will fix the PS3 issues.

i thought the guitar was wireless for the ps 3 would that make it bluetooth?

Nope, USB still because they connect through a dongle you connect in a USB port.

i just looked at gamespot for reviews for gh 3 for ps3 and it gets amazing reviews. i dont understand why most on this forum are so negative. Is it a good by for the ps3 or no.

I sold it after a month. Between the detachable neck problems, the lag problems, and Rock Band being one of the greatest games ever, I returned it for some store credit.

Is it a great buy? No. A good buy? Yes, if you are super competitive and aren't really interested in Rock Band.

I bought and love it, have yet to test it on my HDTV though. I have seen Rock Band, and it looks amazing, but my friend has it, and I am a drummer, so i would want to play the drums, but those drums suck!!! no bounce off the head of the drums, and the drum noise is overbearing the of the soundtrack. Another problem with Rock Band is the guitar parts are super easy compared to Guitar Hero.

Rock band is good if u want 2 diff guitar riffs to play for each song, play drums, and sing, it has a good selection of music, and downloadable content.

But to me the Guitar parts are still way better in Guitar Hero. I got my Guitar Hero for 60 off of ebay, if only now activision would give us some better downloadable content and i would be happy! In Conclusion Guitar Hero plays just like #2, wireless works, and i dont have a lag problem. So go Buy it.

Has anyone else noticed any differences in lag after applying this patch?

This thread seems to have just turned into another GH3 info thread as opposed to people's experiences with the new patch.

I haven't tried it yet, just trying to see if the controller works a little better now...because I personally have many problems with it.
