Not snobby, she just isn't professional. It's like asking an amateur cameraman to film a big budget Hollywood production.

It is a character in a film, she isn't the even main one. If they give her a role that works with her personality then she will do fine. I doubt they hired her because of her acting chops, they hired her because of her personality and they want that as part of the film.

She was one of the few YouTubers that were picked to interview the president after all.

That's ridiculous. That would never happen in the UK: we'd never have a YouTuber picked to interview our nearest equivalent the Queen.

Looks like a film for kids that pathologically hate their parents.

When the first teaser is trolls twerking, it can only get better. The idea is to subvert expectations by making the audience expect the absolute worst.

How does that make any sense from a marketing perspective?

"Hey, let's cut a trailer that makes our movie look awful!"

I'm kidding, but it would be hilarious if someone actually tried that.

You guys should see the amount of dislikes of the same trailer on the 20th Century Fox channel.

I just can't wrap my head around how disappointed I really am. These creatures offered so much potential ... And I'm afraid this will be their next 'Shark Tale', an animated movie that's all about the hip voice-actors full of modern references that will be dated in a few years and today-music that pushes away what could have been a great movie score.

I know, I know, it's only a teaser ... but I have a very bad feeling about this now.

Even under the threat of being waterboarded, I wouldn't see this movie.

Honestly, I'd rather watch Sour Patch Kids: the movie

(don't steal my ideas HOLLYWOOD JERKS)

Well ... This in unexpected ...

At CANNES, limited press got to see about 20 minutes of TROLLS. And the comments were surprisingly positive. Some even comparing this with the best of Pixar. "This could be Dreamworks' Inside Out!" and "A creative world that's great to discover and funny in a smart way."

Could it be?

Here's a clip where the scene-stealing Cloud Guy shows up.

wow, you guys are really harsh.

Can I just say, this looks surprisingly dark based on the first teaser.

How many kids movies trailers end with one of the characters being eaten?

Is this going to be a musical or something? (The voice cast has got me wondering.)

Anyway, after seeing that first clip, it actually doesn't look nearly as bad as I expected after that first teaser of all the trolls dancing. (Not that one out-of-context clip can tell us much).

Does anybody get a Cartoon Network (like Adventure Time or something) vibe from it?

Anyway, if the reaction so far is that positive, I'll be cautiously optimistic.
