The Sith Sense & Home Alone. The 6th Sence, the dam kid bug the hell out of me & the movie was NOT SCARY at all. Home Alone, just shot that GDF kid in the head already, it took me maybe 6 times to watch that whole movie.

Harry Potter
LOTR

No offense to anyone..but I've always seen those movies as "super pasty nerd white boys playing dress up"..they're just boring..like a 3 hour cosplay with dizzying camera angles

Because I Said So

Even Mandy in HD couldnt' save it

and

THE HOLIDAY

Total waste of Jack Black

Do I need to watch em in order to know what's going on? or is there a best of the series that I can buy and try to enjoy?
I never got into the Harry Potter movies, but I never saw the first one either.

I bought the 5 seprately, so Ill give them another shot from the first movie.
But the only reason I bought them was to support the Warner Bros sales.

I like The Fountain, although I have to say it is slow and I can understand why some would say it's boring. It’s defiantly not a movie for everyone. I think this is the best acting job Hugh Jackman has done so far.

As far as Harry Potter, I didn't care too much for the first one (the first time I saw it), but 2nd one was better than the first. The 3rd is better than the 2nd. Personally I thought the 4th was the best. 5th wasn't bad either.

As far as Movies i just couldn't get into, the biggest, most poplaur movie I would say is Napoleon Dynamite. I try to watch this movie 3 times and turn the movie off at the same spot. I still don't understand why everyone thinks this is a great movie, but everyone has their own taste.

I hope you like them, personally I'm not buying any movie just to support the Warner Bros Sale or Blu-ray for that matter. I'll usually rent the movie frist and if I like it , then I'll buy it.

On the topic of Harry Potter, I absoutely hate the 2nd one. Don't mind the rest though.

Magnolia and Napoleon Dynamite are possibly the only 2 movies I actually thought I had just lost out on part of my life after I had finished watching. Can't stand them, and I don't think you could pay me to re-watch them.

Alexander I wanted to like so much, but just about walked out of the theatre. I kind of want to watch the Final Cut but am just too afraid.

To comment on some other posters. HOME ALONE??? Are you crazy or were you just not a child when you first watched it. I love that movie.

Also, I really enjoyed the Holiday as well. It was nice to see Jack Black in a bit of a different role, although he still had a few of those Jack Black mannerisms in that role.

EDIT - I see I'm not alone

I really didn't enjoy the first 3 movies, I only tried them out because of I saw part 4 one day which was not bad. I grew a better appreciation for the first three though looking back, but its just not that great. Part 5 was pretty good, they seem to be getting better at least.

Yeah, I absolutely hated that Michael Bay crapfest. I mean it's cool he supports Blu-ray and all, but he's kind of a lackluster director. I'm honestly surprised it took seven minutes into the movie for there to be an explosion.

Oh man, I absolutely hated that movie. I don't know what's so great about it. It's just some stupid kid and his stupid friend and stupid brother, and a stupid plot with stupid jokes.

The only other movie off the top of my head that I hated as much as those two is Garden State. Talk about the most useless go nowhere bore of a movie. I watched that with some girl I was dating and it got to like a half hour left in the movie and she said "this is when it starts to get boring". I was like "starts to?!? Good God, how could it get more boring than it is already?" She was right, it was even more boring.

I didn't think the HP movies were that bad.

The movie I couldn't get into was Gosford Park, I was sleeping through most of that film.

I suffered through Nacho Libre. That was one of the most excruciating experiences in recent memory. Also, I've already watched Constantine about 3 times now, and I ended up falling asleep halfway through each time.
I think I'll attempt to watch it one more time, and if I fail to finish it once again, I will never watch it again.

Crank was unwatchable. I could care less about the characters in that movie, I just wanted them all to die right away be done with it. After the first 10 minutes my wife looked at me and said, "You paid what for this? I'm going to bed."
