Ya! I don't know about the original cut, but it has already been confirmed here that the original soundtrack has been restored. It has been playing on Cinemax for the past 3 or 4 months!

I would love to see an uncut print of this film. I would even settle for the deleted scenes as a special feature if an uncut print is not possible. The ultimate prize would be a director's cut, but that won't be possible because the director Bruce Malmuth is now deceased. The assistant director Gary Nelson is still alive, but I'm guessing he has no say so in making changes to the film.

"Nighthawks" is a really good film. There needs to be more Hauer on Blu-Ray. "The Hitcher", "Wanted: Dead or Alive" and "Blind Fury" specifically.
