+1. I'd like to know, too. I got Kingsman on UHD, but own it in HDX on VUDU and won't open it yet to see if it gives me "You already own highest version of this title" code.

One thing I noticed is last night while getting ready to watch Kingsman I turned on the K8500 and seen the blinking red light. I pushed eject on the remote and put the disc in and closed it. Still blinking red, my tv & receiver were on and set to right inputs. I powered cycle the K8500 and the red standby switched to green. This happened before, I think it is due to the HDMI handshake. I remember before when I press eject to power it on that it powers right up. Weird, when I get home from work I'm going to try to replicate the blinking red light. Watching Kingsman was flawless. What is your Dynamic Contrast set to on your JS8500?

My Samsung UBD-K8500 is absolutely silent in its operation in all tasks. And how quickly does it load a 4K UHD disc? Quick as a flash! Faster than any Blu-Ray player I've ever owned over the past 10 years. So easy to quickly select directly to viewing the movie, rather than watching all those terminal trailers that go on forever. Absolutely worth the investment of the upgrade along with the Samsung 4K Curved Screen UHD Television and Sound Bar. Now it makes purchasing 4K UHD discs a pleasure - almost, but not quite, the same as going to the cinema. When the time is right and you are ready... dive in.

Not a sound. And lightning fast. Its not even noticeable, any sort of delay or any sound.

Like fast-forward.. Does it look like you see every frame (Laserdisc - CAV) or does it skip frames..

PS3 was the closest @ 1.5x.
Any Oppo, hell no.

My current 4K upscaling BD Sony is very close to frame at 2x but again no where near the analog CAV. I was told that's why. Digital can't do it.
