It appears that TheDean took care of the Year & Season info (and he did indeed split some into two). Thanks TheDean! So all that would be left, I think, is the synopsis whenever you get the chance. Thanks again.

Default Missing episodes theory?

I bought the box set with vol 1 -5 and I've been really confused by the missing episodes and see that 6-10 will be missing episodes as well. I hope they include them in the remaining sets. I was really curious so I started looking into things and I realized years ago Sony released random discs with about 4 episodes on each. The discs were titled Spooky Spirits, Slimefighters, and Creatures of the night. Out of curiosity I looked at the episodes on these discs and realized some of the missing episodes from these new volumes are on these old discs. For instance the Slimefighters dvd features adventures of slime
And space and the episode slimer come home. those are the two episodes that are missing from this brand new set..Also another missing episodes from the upcoming volumes 6-10 victor the happy ghost is on the disc. I haven't searched anymore missing episodes to see if they're on any of these discs but I have a theory that for the last remaining volumes after 6-10 Sony maybe packaging these old along with the rest of the remaining episodes... It sounds stupid but is it possible this is a way to save money on production of these by using old discs they already made...Plus after vol 10 theyll only be about 29 episodes left to release so the duplicate episodes on these older discs may be advertised as "Bonus" even though people with all the volumes at that point will have them already...I'm trying to find a reason why they would skip these episodes in the first place. The only other thing I could think of is that they know the show drops in quality toward the end and they're saving episodes from when the series was in its prime to avoid having fans skip the last couple of volumes... Like I said kind of a silly theory but there's gotta be a reason right?? Thoughts??

Just want to give a heads up for people who want to buy these that some Walmarts are carrying the five volumes for ten bucks each and the volume my Mom picked up came with an embroidered patch of the Ghostbusters logo.

I went looking around the internets, and based on what I've read so far, only Vol. One accurate to how they aired chronologically.

I wonder if they plan on release Vol. 6-10 in a box set like they're doing with Vol. 1-5.

Any word on if Vol. 6-10 will come in a box set like they did with Vol.1-5?

I've not seen any sign of it and if it was being released September 9th like volumes 6-10 individually then I almost certainly would have. It's always possible that they might create one later, but there's been nothing to indicate that.

Any insight on if they're going to release the rest of the episodes/volumes?

I wouldn't know, unfortunately. Hopefully someone else might?

I regularly check sites that are as up to date as possible on upcoming releases for the next couple/few months, and I've yet to see any word (though some releases are added on the schedule later than others). But if they had plans for farther out than that I definitely wouldn't have heard. Sorry I don't know more.

Thanks for the response. Gotta say it would be a damn shame if they went this far and then don't finish. Fingers crossed.

Really glad I got my hands on the original complete series–“Life time”–boxset. I got mine for about £60 at a time when they still sold upwards of £100 or not much less.

Now I see they sell for even more on eBay, between £100 – £300 or something.

for anyone interested in size difference of the boxset compared to other blu rays, heres a pic of mine on the shelf:

It definitely gives you the impression that its a big box but its a lot smaller than it looks.
